Israeli photographer Shlomo Shoham's passion for the image
started in high school in the 1960s. His Haifa studio is today
recognized as one of the largest, most modern, well-equipped
photographic facilities in Israel. Initially located on Mount
Carmel overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, Shoham's commercial
and industrial photography studio includes a full high-ceiling
10x16 meter shooting area with advanced lighting and full digital
support in addition to standalone traditional film exposure and
processing capabilities.
An accomplished studio and location portrait photographer,
and formally trained at Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa
Barbara, California, Shlomo served as staff photographer and
later department head of a major American electrical utility,
as instructor in the Air Force (IAF) where he established the
training program for basic and advanced aerial photography, as
well as managing a substantial aerial photography lab. A 1980
Brooks graduate, he graduated with special honors, having majored
in Industrial & Scientific Photography. He served as a teaching
assistant and was appointed by project head Mr. Vern Miller to
the photographic staff to research the Shroud of Turin.
In addition to advertising agencies and graphic artists, clients
have included Elbit, Elscint, Fibronics, General Electric (GE),
Israel Power Electrical Company, Lumenis, Philips, Solgar, Iscar.
Rigorous scientific and other hi-tech assignments are invited,
in particular those demanding excellence in fluorescence photography,
infrared photography, and high-speed photography.
Shoham Photography offers in-house graphic design services
and is available for location and studio assignments throughout
Europe and beyond. Inquiries are invited, and your initial studio
contact will likely be with Leora, Shlomo's partner and wife;
